Welcome to the OSU Beaver Store! We're a student-governed nonprofit company supporting the OSU community since 1914. We operate the official on-campus store of Oregon State University in Corvallis, as well as OSU Beaver Stores in Portland and Keizer, Oregon.

Our "Back to Beavs" Philosophy

Our company is operated to benefit the OSU community, and our profits are returned to current OSU students through our "Back to Beavs" discount on textbooks. When you patronize any of our retail stores, you can be sure that your money is staying on campus to support your fellow Beavers.

Our History

The OSU Beaver Store was founded by students and faculty in 1914 as the OAC Co-op. Then, as now, students and faculty members needed course materials and other products to support their campus life and academic success. Over the years the company has expanded along with the needs of our members, and is now a center of activity on campus and elsewhere for all things OSU. The OSU Beaver Store is one of the original "Powered by Orange" organizations!

Timeline:

• 1914 - Founding of Oregon Agricultural College Co-op.
• 1960 - Moved into the Memorial Union East Wing (current location).
• 1982 - Completed land purchases on Kings and Monroe in Corvallis (site of current University Center).
• 1990 - Opened first downtown Portland store.
• 1998 - Co-op converted into a tax-exempt nonprofit organization
• 2003 - Ground breaking for University Center development.
• 2007 - Opened Keizer Station store.
• 2011 - Re-branded as the OSU Beaver Store.
