How do I purchase my Ecampus course materials?

You can order your course materials here.  Please be sure to consider shipping-time in deciding how early before term begins to order.

Can I return or exchange my course materials?

Yes, you can generaly return course materials within the first two weeks of class with your receipt.  Our return policy can be found here.  You are responsible for return postage, and must have their shipments postmarked by the last day of the returns period.  Please contact us in the Textbook Department if you would like to exchange a book or have other questions about a return.

Does the OSU Beaver Store buy books back from Ecampus students?

Yes, if the book is being used again at OSU (paying you up to half of your purchase price) or has a value in the used book wholesale market.  Click here to see the current Sell Back prices for your book(s).  Prices shown are subject to change.  Prices change based on need at the time of the transaction and whether the market guides have limits as well.

For a mail-in buyback, you must take a screen print of the buyback price quote on the day you mail the book to the OSU Beaver Store.  The arrival date to the Beaver Store for your Sell Back has to be within 7 days of the time stamp on the price quote. You are responsible for shipping.  Include in the mailing box: book(s), the screen print(s) and a stamped self-addressed envelope in which to send your Sell Back check.

Do I have an e-book options?

The OSU Beaver Store offers a number of titles in e-book format each term.  Learn more here about the “Jumpbooks” digital book offering.  Also, each term there are a variety of stand-alone access codes that contain an ebook adopted by OSU faculty.  You will see a separate listing for these when looking over your course materials offering per course here.

Can I rent textbooks as an Ecampus student?

Yes!  We have partnered with an online rental company that provides rental options for most of the textbooks adopted every term.  You will see the rental option when you go through the textbook finder process here.   You can also go directly to our online rental site if you know the book you want to see about renting.


As an Ecampus student, how can I purchase academically priced software/hardware?

You can add the title of the software to the comments box when you order your textbooks.  The Web Order department will contact the Beaver Tech personnel and ensure that the requested software is included with your course materials order.  Current OSU enrollment is required.
