Online orders placed as “hold for pick-up” are available at the outdoor service counter in our Courtyard from Saturday, March 28 through Friday, April 3 from 10am-5pm.  Our Courtyard is located on the north end of the OSU Beaver Store, adjacent to Dutch Bros.

NOTE: Customers are asked to wait until you receive a “your order is ready for pick-up” email confirmation before coming to the Courtyard.  Orders are typically ready within 72 hours of receipt.

Response to the Governor's Stay-at-Home Order

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, the safety of our customers and team members remains our top priority. With the Governor's order today regarding Oregon businesses and social distancing, the OSU Beaver Store will have no choice but to close our campus store to the public, effective as of the end of business on Tuesday, March 24th. The minimum social distancing requirements for customers mandated within the order can not be maintained within our store once spring term begins, particularly in our course material aisles. While our stores will be temporarily closed to the public, we will remain open as an online-only retailer to serve the needs of OSU students and faculty for spring term. All OSU course materials are available at osubeaverstore.com for electronic delivery (when in digital format), shipment, or pick-up at our campus store's outdoor service counter. There is ample outdoor space at our service counter adjacent to Dutch Bros. for social distancing and on-campus pick-up of your online orders.

We are so grateful for your continued support through these unprecedented times! We will return to normal operations and welcome you back into all of our stores as soon as circumstances allow. Stay healthy and safe.

Course Materials Available for Spring Term - Additional Digital Options Being Added

OSU has announced remote teaching for Spring Term, and the OSU Beaver Store is already processing online orders through osubeaverstore.com for both physical books to be shipped or picked-up, and for digital materials to be sent to students electronically. We are expanding our capacity to fulfill these online orders, as we anticipate a shift of in-store purchasing to our website. Currently, we are planning for our campus store to be open at the start of spring term for essential services, and we're spacing our queues and cashiers to allow for social distancing. We will continue our more rigorous sanitizing efforts throughout. Our online order pick-up will occur at our external service counter where there is plenty of outdoor space to queue and maintain social distance.

Faculty Members

Many students are now choosing the digital options we have available. For faculty members that do not currently have a digital option adopted but would consider adding it, please contact textmanager@osubeaverstore.com. One great option is to place one of our digital material links right on your Canvas course page (which we refer to as AutoAccess). If you are using courseware (e.g. Connect, LaunchPad, MyLab, WileyPlus, etc.), you can check to see if we already have it available for your students by going to http://osubeaverstore.com/AccessCodesPurchase and scrolling down to find your course. If you see your course listed and want to use AutoAccess, just contact textmanager@osubeaverstore.com for a direct link that we'll provide for you to deploy on Canvas.

Continued Access to Course Materials During the COVID-19 Response

OSU has announced a number of steps to limit the spread of COVID-19, including a period of remote teaching. We at the OSU Beaver Store want to do our part to help keep everyone informed and safe. The OSU Beaver Store will continue to be a resource for OSU students and faculty members throughout the period of COVID-19 response.

Here's what we'd like you to keep in mind:

- The OSU Beaver Store remains open and has Spring Term course materials available for students as per usual. We've increased the frequency and rigor of cleaning within our facilities, including regular disinfection of high touch point areas at check-out.

- All course materials can also be ordered online at OSUBeaverStore.com. E-books and digital materials are delivered digitally online, and physical books can either be shipped or held for pick-up at our campus store's external service counter.

- Most Spring Term course materials are now in stock and available. Students don't need to wait until the start of Spring Term to shop in the campus store and online at OSUBeaverStore.com.

As always, we're here to serve the academic needs of OSU students, wherever they are located and through whatever method the learning occurs. Because this is a fluid situation, we'll continue to monitor developments and guidance from local and campus officials. Thank you for your help in sharing this message.
