Check the current buyback prices for your textbooks.
Find out what the OSU Bookstore is currently paying for your used textbooks. You will need the ISBN to check a book. The ISBN is a ten-digit number (there might be a "X" at the end instead of a digit), usually located on the back of the book above the barcode.
Demand for used textbooks is limited, and a book’s value can change hour-by-hour. To take advantage of the current prices displayed in Sell A Book, please bring your books to the OSU Bookstore immediately. E-campus mail-in buyback (with screenshot), student pays shipping and any return shipping if directed.
Receive an email alert when we're buying your book, or when we can offer you a better price.
If we’re not currently buying your book, or the price seems too low, you can ask us to notify you when the price we’re offering changes. Add your used textbooks to our Buy-Back Alert database, and you’ll periodically receive an e-mail containing the current prices that we’re paying for your books. You can choose to receive an e-mail alert monthly or once per term.
Advertise your textbooks to other students online.
If we’re not currently buying your book, or the price seems to low, you can also post your used textbooks on our Used Book Classifieds. Please be aware that the Used Book Classifieds is an unmonitored tool designed to support student-to-student transactions. The OSU Bookstore cannot verify or warranty the accuracy of the information posted by students in the Used Book Classifieds.
Keep in mind that if we’re not buying your book, or the price seems low, there’s probably a good reason. Most often those books are not being used anymore at OSU. Before buying a book somewhere other than the OSU Bookstore, you should always verify that the ISBN of the book you are buying matches the ISBN of the book being used in your class.
