Course is not listed on our site:
The Beaver Store only lists what faculty and/or academic departments submit as an adoption for a term. If you don’t see your course listed it just means an adoption has yet to be submitted.
Course material "HOLD" orders:
The Beaver Store will give you an option for a “hold” web order that will allow you to pick up the order once completed beginning 4-5 days prior to term start. We only charge once we pull and process. This “hold” option is available until about a week prior to term start normally.
Processing web orders:
Under normal circumstances we can process a submitted web order within 24hrs. High volume periods that occur just prior to and after term start may have processing time that gets closer to 48hrs.
Print & Digital Equivalents:
Some titles may be offered as both print and digital options. If you add both options in a checkout cart we will only process the least expensive option. In most cases this is the digital option.
Digital course materials:
If you order “digital” course materials check your email for authentication/access info. May need to check your junk/spam folder if you don’t see our email within 48hrs.
Return/Refund window for coure materials:
During the Fall/Winter/Spring terms the return window (w/receipt) is the first 12 days from the term start. Summer term return window is just the first 4 days of the term. See more details on course materials returns HERE.
Selling back course materials:
Yes, in most cases you can sell back your course materials when no longer needed. The Beaver Store will pay up to ½ of your purchase price when we need your book for the next term. Otherwise we will pay what the national used book companies offer. We will pay in cash unless you do a mail-in buyback then by check. Best time to sell back is during the final two weeks of a term. Although we do daily buyback year round. You can check the value of your book HERE.
